Founded by the International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, Certified Lactation Counselor and Specialist Xiuting Hawkins, Hawkins Lactation Services in Bronx, NY brings in more than 25 years of industry expertise to your breastfeeding experience.
Xiuting began our rapidly growing business after serving as a midwife in a baby-friendly hospital in China, as an International Nursing Exchange Fellow at Singapore's largest women and children's hospital, obtaining her Master’s Degree in Nursing in the UK, and working with mothers and babies at the New York Presbyterian Hospital.
During her time at New York Presbyterian, she devoted her skills and knowledge to help mothers and babies on breastfeeding, creating a program to increase success. While working as a lactation consultant at the Columbia Medical Center, Xiuting wanted to extend her top service to people in the community as many of her clients requested and has since expanded her private service rapidly. It has become a top choice for new mothers and families throughout New York.
Xiuting has served hundreds of people successfully. Her passion and dedication has earned her great reputation in the field. All the mothers and families she served love her. Xiuting has been awarded the ' Worldwide Leader in Healthcare and Top Women's Health and Lactation Specialist in New York, New York' by The International Nurses Association.
Xiuting is also a Certified Neonatal Resuscitation Instructor. This service will be available to families on request with a nominal fee in addition to lactation service.
